Unconventional married life

Every society has created rituals for marriage.  These may not be uniform for different societies. Various societies evolved through the ages and thus their own conventions are deep-rooted in the hearts of its successors. Now the 21st century has witnessed soon expanding social circle and mixing of people from different casts and this is having its own effect on young brains, who feel themselves free from social conventions which creates a difference of opinion between parents and children in some cases and thus marrying someone out from the own society takes place which would otherwise not be allowed. Marriage between people from different casts or different religions is unconventional marriage. This may be one cause of separation within such couples.

Some planetary combinations may be described as:-

1. Affliction to the 8th house or the lord of the 8th house by Rahu or Ketu or by Mars or Saturn in the native birth chart may lead to some unconventionality.
2.  Moon in Ascendant and Venus joining them, aspected by Ketu. It gives rise to what is known as Gandharva Vivaah which in ancient times also faced opposition.
3.  Rahu is placed in Lagna, joined by Venus & Moon may result in a love marriage
4. Saturn debilitated in Aries in the 7th house and the 7th lord occupying the 12th house may marry a widow or a divorcee.
5. If Saturn joins the waxing Moon, marriage may take place with a widow/ widower or a divorcee.
6. Jupiter placed in inimical sign in the 6th,8th or 12th house gives some unconventionality to marriage.

1.   Venus is the 8th lord in conjunction with Moon & Rahu aspects by Ketu and its shows Gandharv marriage and facing opposition.
2. Rahu and Ketu placed in the 1:7 axis do bring in some elements of unconventionality in marriage.
3. These two are from different castes as well as from different faiths. They married in 1991, but have separated now.
4. 7th lord Mars in the 8th house may give unconventional marriage.
5. Afflicted Venus in 9th- love marriage or out of caste one, or marrying a girl elder than her husband.
6. Venus is placed in a movable sign surrounded by both sides and aspects Saturn give out of casts marriage.
7. If the Dhanishtha constellation Mars, Saturn, Rahu or Ketu, they often decrease happiness in marriage.
8. If the relation of the seventh house or its owner is with the Dhanishth constellation then obstructs the marital happiness.
